  Absolutely fantastic service! I looked in bridal shops across the York and Darlington area before my wedding in June this year and found the perfect wedding gown at Brides of York. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional at every stage of the process, from my initial visit, choosing accessories, several fittings, right through to the point of collecting my dress. I was never made to feel rushed and I felt that the staff fully appreciated what I wanted from the gown and gave excellent suggestions about styles and accessories. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable and I would happily recommend them to future brides!

  I didn't end up buying from Brides of York (just didn't have quite the right dress for me - i'm too picky!) but I tried on over 100 dresses in my search so went to A LOT of bridal shops and Brides of York was THE BEST service I had. I popped into the shop on a Saturday without an appointment. Someone had failed to turn up for their appointment and even though they didn't have long till the next lady they were more than happy to let me try on dresses. The best part however was their knowledge. They had me try on something I would never had picked and it was amazing. The woman who seemed in charge knew exactly what would look best on me, even better than I did. I've heard similar stories from other Yorkshire brides. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
